16nov2009

Yesterday was Kris' Birthday now her and I are part of the same decade. Now we are both working on our fifth decade. I believe she doesn't look a day over 29. April has gotten her ACT score back and we are very proud of her. Her average on the test was 27. Now she is making plains to attend the University of Wyoming beginning next semester. I have been working in the produce department for the past two months. It has a great change. The kids are trying to catch up on school so we can go to Arizona next month.
I am sorry I have not been keeping our blog upto date I will try to do better.
Check out the pictures of my project car.

Possibly the last day of summer to work in the yard.

Today me and the kids spent this morning mowing the grass, pulling weeds, cleaning up the trash and trimming the over grown grass from the sidewalks. The students are back in Laramie and our ward is half again as big as it was. Josh and Patrick are taking classes at the Junior High as well as their school work at home. April starts her new job at Kmart on Monday and will prepare for taking the ACT next month. Greg Hannah and Laonna are full time public school and it looks like it should be a good year. Kris is trying to decide if the sacrifice of chocolate and sugar is worth it or not, but she is committed to this diet.

Kris' calling

So it was fun Kris said that she was planning to sub in the primary. When she said that I laughed. She asked why I laughed I told her I didn't have the authority to say. Later after I was set apart I told to know I have the authority I need to talk to her. I then extended a call to her to serve a primary worker and she accepted.

It's been a great week

It's been a great week. I have done a lot of gardening. I've planted tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, rasberries, grass and a couple of nice rocks. I asked Laonna if she thought the rocks would grow and she said "no".

Spring time in Wyoming.

I love spring time in wyoming. You can enjoy all four season in one week. We started out the last week with warm sunny days, then it turned fall like kind of dark and drizzly, then it turned into a down right blizzard, today it will be sunny and 50 degrees and we will get to watch the ten inches of snow we got melt away.

Well Tax day is fast approaching. Kris finally got me to take care of that less than enjoyable task. Now we wait to hear if we love socialism or hate it. We are all finally getting over these nasty colds. We continue to take in additional children. Othila was here for the past week while here mom went to Oklahoma to visit her mom. The week before that we had Adriene here for a we while her foster parents were out of town. Also, Jon came down from Thermopolis this week and we spent part of Thursday morning with him. We all enjoyed our time with him.

Crazy Week

This week Kris has been very busy which has translated to everyone being very busy. Several sisters have had some interesting challenges the one that impacted the family the most is the sister that called wednesday morning asking Kris if she could take her kids to school and her to the hospital. Kris ended up at the hospital all day and we had her kids for the rest of the week.
This is how the week ended that started with arrangements for a funeral the week prior.
We hope you all have a great week.
